Matching Your Intentions with Peace

This past week could be looked at as if it went through a blender.  There are some major uncertainty and changes happening.  Life happens.  Things change.  And still, I’m calm and at peace.

We are ready to start a major construction project on the house and the project manager, who we have used in the past and who we love, quit as did his assistant.  Shake up at the company. On the plus side, we took him out for a “Chuck appreciation” lunch today.  He’s that good. 

So, now we are on to something even better. Not sure how, but it will work to our advantage.

On top of that, the travel that we have planned has hit some major snags, such as housing.  So, I’m not sure if I’m actually leaving, and if I am, when?  And do I need to pack?  (My husband is already there for business.)

Hey look at that.  Both are about housing.  I wonder what the Universe is trying to tell us.

On top of all this, there are other things in flux also.  Did I mention that the week could be perceived as going through a blender?

This cool approach wasn’t always my reaction.  However, after years of learning about energy healing, consciousness, and the power of being high vibe, my set point is mostly in the space of peace.  From here, I can roll with the punches and my mind is clear so that I am able to deal with whatever pops up.

It’s taken a bit for my body to be comfortable with the feeling of peace.  At first, my body freaked out.  “Wait.  What is that new feeling?  I’m not comfortable with it.  Return to what I know.”

I persevered.  And now I’m at peace more and more.

This meditation is a bit different.  It’s more than just feeling the peace.  It’s feeling the peace about a given intention.  When you are at peace with the intention, the Universe can start arranging things to fulfill the desire.  When you are at peace with your intention, ideas will pop and you’ll know the next step that the Universe is leading you to do. 

Intention Peace Meditation

  1. Write your intention.  Take a moment to choose your intention.  It can be big or small.  The Universe doesn’t know the difference.  Write it on an index card using as few words as possible. Don’t put limitations on your desire.  If you keep it wide open, then you are actually allowing the Universe to bring something even better than you expect.

  2. Breathe deeply.  Go through a few rounds of deep, slow breathing to center yourself and bring attention to your body.

  3. Melt the stress.  Imagine any stress in your body melting.  Watch as it leaks from you into the earth.

  4. Imagine and feel a sense of peace.  Then expand that feeling beyond your body.  You are an infinite being and the feeling can extend beyond the galaxy we are in.  Let go of limiting how much peace you can feel.

  5. Drop your intention into the space of peace.  It can be as simple as reading the card or just imagining the card floating into the peace.

  6. Pay attention to what your initial feelings are.  It’s important to recognize when you aren’t feeling at peace about your intention.

  7. Balance the feelings with peace.  Shift your focus from the intention (and its feelings) to the feeling of peace.  Go back and forth until you feel neutral.  This is when you are at peace with your intention.  This is when the Universe starts shifting things in your favor.

  8. Focus on the peace and melt any remaining stress.  Just rest in the peaceful feeling.

  9. Say:  So be it.  It is done.

  10. Open your eyes.

There really isn’t a need to say the intention over and over.  After all, isn’t that like telling the Universe “I don’t have this, and I want it.”  That places you in the feeling of want, so you’ll be given more things that match that wanting feeling.  It’s much better to be in the feeling of peace, know that your initial part is done, and recognize your internal belief and confidence that it’s on its way.

In short, if circumstances are upside down and inside out, you don’t have to feel that way inside of you.  The answers will be found at a vibration higher than the problem occurred at.  The solution is to raise your vibe and feel the peace.  The more you do this, the more your body will get used to the peaceful feelings and the more ease you will have being in the feeling of peace.
