But we can’t do everything at once. So, let’s start with the most important concept.


What is the most important concept for you to learn?

Vibrations… and how to raise yours.

Let’s begin with a little explanation. (If you want to skip to the technique below, feel free. Whatever works.)

Everything vibrates. Every atom in the chair or table vibrates. Even your thoughts and words vibrate. And most importantly your feelings vibrate.

Think of it as a beat (much like a heart). Each beat is a pulse. Each pulse is a contraction and expansion. Whenever something expands or contracts something is pushed or pulled. It’s this push/pull that is the vibration that reaches out and grabs hold of the experiences you have.

What would it take to have better experiences?

The feelings you have will bring you experiences that match those feelings. That’s right. If you are feeling apathy, grief, struggle and anger the Universe will bring you more experiences that match those feelings. So to have better experiences, you need better feelings, which translate to higher vibrations.

What are higher vibrations?

It’s simple. Higher vibrations are peace, calm, gratitude, kindness and love .

Your personal vibration is what you are feeling in your body. What you feel is your choice. That’s right. You get to choose how you feel. Whatever feeling you are feeling right now can change. You can choose to feel something else. You don’t have to stay stuck in one feeling.

There is much more I can explain about this and will in the future, but to save time, I’ll keep it short for now. Suffice it to say, the higher your personal vibration is, the more you have peace, calm, gratitude, kindness and love.

What would it take to feel something different?

Choose it. Then practice this new feeling.

I know this is getting long and you want to start on your path to success, so let’s cut to the chase.

What can you do to raise your personal vibration?

There are a lot of ways. For the next few blogs, I’ll share with you some techniques that have worked for me.

Today’s Higher Vibration Technique: Candle Calm

  • Light a candle. Any candle is good. You can even go on the internet and pull up a video of a candle flame. Whatever works.
  • Simply stare at the candle flame.
  • Breath in and out SLOWLY…and even slower than that. Take deep, slow breaths.
  • As you stare at the flame, focus on your breathing and slow it down.
  • Do this for two to five minutes.
  • Then notice what your body is sensing. What happened to your shoulders? Your jaw? Your gut? Pay attention to your heart rate. Did you feel it slow down? Did you feel your insides uncurl?
  • This is one way to experience calm. It’s that simple.

Now that you know what calm feels like, you know what sensation you are going for. So as you go through the day, any time you desire the feeling of calm, mentally take yourself back to the candle flame and your slow breathing. (Here’s a hint: Your body doesn’t know the difference between a thought and something that really happened. So, thinking about the candle flame and breathing will start your body feeling as you did when you were actually sitting in front of the flame.)

This candle calm technique is the first step to get you started on your path to success right away.
